In "forumotion" based -on forums how can i do something like the thing u have done..i mean depending on posts a user is changed from simple user to Slifer then Ra and so continues...plx pl0x i need a reply!!

I think he is talking about ranking up.
by making posts to move up higher levels such as Ra and Obelisk.
or somewhere around those lines.

ye i saw but how can i make it to automatically change the level when they have a certain number of posts? :S

you are just a normal member.
not a mod or admin!
so i think you wont be able to change it.
but if you have the information on the table.
you can PM mistxzero or bomwatchout.
and they will change your rank for you.

you have to go to the admin panel and then user and groups. click group administration and make a new group like the slifers. now make the post rule to join there and make what forums the group will be able to see etc... thats how i did it Smile

you can make an auto join for members... for instance, you can make members join if they have a certain quantity of post. thats what i call post rule Smile

i know a way to make groups and ranks go automatically but there is just a little problem... if i do it, then it must go only by post (you rank up according to the post you have) but in this forum i added the dueling points also which is not in the forum features... we dont need dueling points to change groups and thats why you can auto join them but we do need them to rank up.

.....and thats why in here admins have to manually rank up the members, if you know a way to to auto rank up people by using the dueling points please let me know Smile

lol i think its simple to automatically rank up....so press on User & Groups-->Rank Administration--->Add A New Rank--->Minimum Posts and then set minimum posts on the value you want

i think that there is not other way using the dueling points b/c it wasnt in site's features ...you can do it only if u know HTML
